For a Delicious Stew Add Chicken Breast and Sweet Corn. Made with Organic Beans. Salt Free, No MSG, High Fiber, and Gluten Free.
To complete the recipe the package suggest adding:
6 cups Water
1 pound Chicken Breast, boneless, cut into 1/2" pieces
1-14oz Can Tomatoes with Green Chiles, Diced
1 & 1/2 cups Okra, fresh, canned or frozen
2 cups Sweet Corn, fresh, canned, or frozen
1/3 cup BBQ Sauce, thick and spicy
Salt and black pepper to taste
Directions:
- Sort through and rinse the beans. Soak beans 4 hours or overnight in 2" of water. If using frozen corn and okra, defrost overnight in refrigerator.
- In a 3 quart soup pot combine soaked beans with water. Cover and bring to a boil. Immediately turn down to low and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add contents of spice packet(included), chicken and tomatoes. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes on low heat.
- Add okra, corn and BBQ sauce. Cover and bring back to simmer and cook for 15 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Season with salt and black pepper to your taste. Serves 6-7
