I love olives and like to use them in quite a few recipes. Nice flavor and still heart healthy. A recurring buy for me.

terrible

If I were miraculously healed today, eating olives would be one the first things on my list to do. You can imagine my disappointment when I could not even eat these olives because the taste was so awful. They tasted sour like they had gone bad. Could not find an expiration date. I was so disappointed since the black olives were so wonderful.

Ripe Olives

I loved these, they reminded me of the Greek Deli in my old neighborhood. They are not your salty green salad olive one might be used to in an American grocery, but a more authentic Greek olive, not salty or sweet, just taste the olive in a light brine. Great chopped up in egg salad, a few on a green salad, chopped in cream cheese for a dip.

Not a good substitute for brined olives

I got these hoping that because they were green olives, they might taste more like something that would be on an antipasti plate. Unfortunately, although these are perfectly good as far as canned olives go, the taste is almost identical to canned black olives - a little sweet, a little salty, and without the meatiness or nuance that "real" olives have.
