        About UsSince our beginning in 1998, Healthy Heart Markets sole purpose was to offer a variety of foods that contain no sodium, and low levels of sodium, and allow the convenience of shopping online at one location. Today, we still continue that same convenience and are able to offer more than 500 products that are all found on our website. For customer’s that do not have access to the web, we offer a free catalog and we will take your order by phone or mail. Local customer may also pick up their order to save on shipping costs.

        All of our products are shipped from our facility in Onamia, Minnesota.

        We are licensed by the State of Minnesota with a Retail Food Handlers permit and we undergo on-going state inspections, so you can be assured proper handling of your food. With the help of the internet, we are able to reach those in need of low and no sodium foods all around the world.

        We believe in keeping customer service our highest priority and keeping your shopping experience simple.

        Ownership History

        In 1998, Healthy Heart Market was founded by Pete Eiden. As a patient of congestive heart failure, Pete struggled with finding foods low in sodium that would fit his restricted diet. That was when the concept of Healthy Heart Market blossomed- to give others in need of a salt restrictive diet an easy way to find foods that could be eaten everyday!         About Us

        In 2003,         Healthy Heart Market was purchased by Mike and Michelle Majerus. The business was moved from Pete’s residence to a business location in Rogers, MN, where food storage and shipping was simplified. This allowed for quicker delivery times to our customers and the space to store, and offer, over 400 products.

        In March 2009, Healthy Heart Market was purchased by Lisa and Greg McComas. Healthy Heart Market's location was then moved to a new larger facility in Big Lake, MN. As of Dec. 2013, Healthy Heart Market moved to a larger building in Onamia, MN where we still operate from today. We are still a small family owned business, but with our customers support we continue to grow.
