Tasty and healthy!
I love this soup. I need to order more.
It is poor. Do not buy it.
Did not care for the flavor. Disappointed.
I purchased several of these soups at the Nutcracker Market in Houston, TX. So far, probably the best tasting I’ve ever had. Makes a substantial amount to last for days or even freeze.
Fantastic! I shared what I bought with friends.
Haven't tried as yet buy looking forward to eating this soup. Have tried a few Frontier product and have not been disappointed.
We really enjoyed this product. Finding low sodium items can be tough
Fan of Frontier mixes but this one is bland beyond belief. The taste is non-existant, and I used all broth no water, they need to bump up the seasonings, or take it out of their line up.
My husband is not supposed to have a lot of salt or his legs will swell up. I bought the Chicken Noodle & Broccoli soups because this is supposed to be a low salt place. I didn't make the soups yet because when I looked on the salt content, it was too much for him to have. I thought I was doing a good thing for him but I guess not. Sorry
This is a tasty, versatile soup that is good as soup but with less liquid can be made into a full stew. There are only two of us, so we did not need quarts of soup (though I guess we could have frozen it or given some to neighbors) but when I cut the liquid almost in half, it was a very nice chicken stew, a hearty dinner to serve with salad and biscuits or rolls. Also, I used low-sodium broth, so we did a lot better than the "prepared" sodium numbers on the package.
This is very good. Will be buying again. I love soup of all types - especially the no salt.
I've recently had to start cooking with sodium in mind and this is just a great mix.
very good
Great taste for a healthy product.
I love chicken soup but can't find it in the stores
I buy this soup for my mother, who is in renal failure. It is a great pantry staple. Be sure to make this with no sodium broth instead of regular broth.
Makes a good soup with or without the addition of cooked chicken breast. Can't beat Frontier soups!
Rather than click on the photo of the can's ingredients, I just checked the convenient Nutrition Facts listed on the right of the above page. "Sodium 15 mg"
How can you go wrong with 15mg of Sodium in chicken noodle soup? Turns out the 10mg is for 2½ table spoons of the mix. The next column however, shows that 1 cup of prepared soup is actually 780mg of Sodium. For the entire package .... 6,240 mg of Sodium. Low indeed.
Hey Jack, The sodium content of the finished soup will depend greatly on what ingredients are used when cooking. This Recipe calls for 6 cups of chicken broth, using Swanson's Unsalted Chicken Broth which has 35mg of sodium per cup Vs Swanson's regular version which is 860mg of sodium per cup result in a much different version of this no salt added soup mix.
Have not used yet but again my understanding of the labeling led me to believe this was a product I could eat. The sodium content in the dehydrated contents makes it prohibitive.
A bit misleading. Yes the mix is no salt but when you make soup with it you end up with 870mg of SALT per cup. Not acceptable.
Excellent. To keep sodium under 100 milligrams use Pacific Foods Organic Free Range Low Sodium Chicken Broth (40 mg)
Soup is good but taste is flat. So would recommend salt substitute to add a little more flavor or add fresh herbs.
All the Frontier Soups are healthy, easy to prepare and delicious.
Excellent food. Expensive considering no meat and high shipping cost.
