after reading the reviews how bland and dry this mix was i decided to add an egg and a tablespoon of sour cream with sugar. it turned out very good. nice to have a low sodium product for my husband with ckd. he enjoyed it too. nadene
I used this cornbread to reduce the salt content when making cornbread dressing for Thanksgiving, and the taste is good. There is obviously a reduce in salt content when you eat it, however it does not distort the taste of the cornbread itself. Definitely will buy again!
For a low salt cornbread it was okay.
