Frog Ranch Smoked Jalapeno Salsa-16 oz.

My husband is on a sodium restricted diet and this Frog Ranch Smoked Jalapeno Salsa has been a great addition to his diet ! Jazzing up some recipes that would be bland or just with some no sodium tortillas chips or no sodium pita chips !

For a low salt diet, this is an absolutely stunning salsa. Smoky and slightly spicy, it does not have the acidic aftertaste from tomatoes as many salsas do.

I would buy and eat this salsa even if it weren't low sodium. It's so flavorful and the spice is balanced perfectly with the smoke. I've served this to guests who don't eat low sodium and they love it too.

We love this salsa! It is spicy without burning our lips off. It has wonderful flavors blended perfectly.

The advertising says "Same great taste, new name!" (formerly Chipotle Salsa) I disagree! It does not taste like the Chipotle Salsa. I did decide to keep the 4 additional jars (I had purchased based on their claim) because the new version still has better flavor than most low sodium salsas. I wish they would bring back the Chipotle Salsa version.

Bought this because of low sodium but it turns out to be the best tasting Chipotle salsa! And I've tried many regular brands, some quite expensive. This beats them all. Also many salsas have a lot of water and this doesn't at all. Just delicious. 5+ Stars!

Very delicious and spicy!!

I purchased this a while back and admit it has a little bit more of a kick than the mild and I wasn't sure how I felt about it. But I started using it in cooking with chicken, beef, topped quesadillas, even added it to a meatloaf instead of ketchup. Even mixed it in with no-salt canned corn to make a mexi-corn side dish. It was so good, added a spicy flavor to plain foods! Worth buying at least one to try out!

I am using this stuff on everything. The flavors of all the vegetables and mild spices come out boldly without being overcome by too much salt.

This is as good as any other salsa, low salt or not!

This is a nice salsa and I don't even miss the salt. Pair it up with the Donkey Tortilla chips for a great low sodium snack.

It is pretty spicy. I used it in a recipe that worked well.

The chipotle flavor was the 2nd worst low sodium item I've ever tried. I think I personally just dont like chipotle flavors. My husband likes it. I still plan to order all the other flavors when they're in stock because I've heard very good things.

I love Frog Ranch Salsa! I usually order mild, but accidentally ordered habanero this last order. Still great, just a bit spicy for my tummy.
