How can this be considered low sodium when the packaging says 1 cup prepared soup has 700 mg. sodium?

The prepared sodium content does not reflect the use of low and no sodium broths or other ingredients. Using Unsalted broth vs a regular broth gives wildly different sodium content in the finished soup!

Very good when I removed about 2/3 of the red pepper. Added seafood mix to make even better

For the low salt user on a special diet, these soups are out of this world. You can then control the salt level yourself. Canned commercial soups are loaded. These have a more made from scratch taste and gourmet soup quality. We keep several on hand.Can tweak with other seasonings from Healthy Heart and other vegs. Saves lots of time but a tasty finished product.
